For final deliveries to the Montreal metropolitan areas instruct your US shippers to fill out the Bill of Lading to read:

If the shipment will be "Collect" check with the World Warehouse delivery location to determine the proper LTL carrier for your US shipper to use. The selection of the best carrier will insure that your company will enjoy the maximum freight discount.

As soon as the shipment(s) arrives at World Warehouse we will notify your company.

If you do not already have a Consolidated Brokerage Fee in place with your Canadian Broker, ask them for one. This is a standard service offering by all Brokers and will save you additional money.

Your Broker will explain how to prepare a consolidated Canadian Customs Invoice. World Warehouse will assemble the Customs Invoice Documents and send them to your Canadian Broker.

Upon notification from the Canadian Broker that the shipments have been released by Canadian Customs World Warehouse will transport the goods to the destination of your choice in Canada.

Remember, the larger the consolidation the more you will save.

Consolidate all of your shipments going into the US with a single Bill of Lading.

Show the shipper as your company.

3.

Show the consignee as World Warehouse and Distribution at our Champlain, NY locations.

4.

Fill out the World Warehouse "Shipping Instructions Manifest" or another form of your choice that will convey the necessary shipping instructions to our staff.

If you do not already have a Consolidated Customs Brokerage Fee in place with your US Broker, ask them for one. This is now a standard service offering by all Brokers and will save you additional money.

Your Broker will explain how to prepare their consolidated US Customs Invoice.

When the consolidation arrives at World Warehouse our staff will immediately process the shipments with the appropriate US carriers.

World Warehouse staff will then notify you that each shipment was sent and will indicate the selected carrier and the associated bill of lading tracking numbers.
